<p><strong>So how can I burn more belly fat?</strong></p>

What you need to do is actually change up the foods you eat on a day to day basis, this causes something called metabolic confusion. <p>1.  Set realistic goals:  Take it slow, don&#8217;t go all out only to burn yourself out after a couple of weeks or months.  Start off by making small changes to your lifestyle, and eventually you will move on to bigger changes.   Write down specific short term goals and aim for them.  </p>
<p>2.  Meals:  Preplan all of your meals.  When you are prepared you make healthier food choices, and don&#8217;t just fly by the seat of your pats and go through whatever fast food resturant is closest.  </p>
<p>3.  Spread your meals out:  try to eat 3 meals and 2 snacks everyday.  This keeps your blood sugar levels even, and helps to avoid overeating.  There are 3500 calories in one pound of fat, if you can burn 500 more calories then you consume everyday of the week, you will lose a pound a week.</p>
<p>4.  Drink lots of water:  drink at least four 16oz. Glasses of ice water a day, and you will burn an extra 100 calories a day. Anyone can burn fat but how to do it safely is the key. Some people will suggest starvation diets but obviously you will only lose water weight and can put yourself at risk for some serious health problems. Then there are the low-carbohydrate and high-protein diets. These are dangerous for people with serious conditions such as gout where the last thing needed is a high &#8211; protein diet. And the list goes on from energy drinks to herbal supplements boasting to help you with your <a href="http://www.rumblerushs.com" target=_self>weight loss</a>. But no matter what is out there on the market, it all comes back to one way to safely burn fat fast and that is to burn more calories than you take in. And the only way you do this is through exercise &#8211; especially if you have a sedentary lifestyle and work at a desk most of the day. You can exercise effectively as well without having to buy expensive gym memberships. </p>
<p>First of all, before you start an exercise program, you need to make sure that it is okay for you. Walking programs are fairly safe for anyone to get started with. <p>So walking is good to get started but you will want to safely increase the intensity of your exercise in order to burn fat faster. This increase needs to be gradual especially if you are seriously overweight and have not exercised in quite some time. To increase the intensity of your walking, try climbing stairs. In fact, look for every place where there are stairs and use them. Stadiums are a good place to find stairs. If you have access to a stadium you can spend your time running up and down those. Cardiac doctors recommend that patients start stair climbing very gradually. If you are a cardiac patient then consult your doctor.</p>
<p>And as you get into better shape, you can intensify your exercise program by maybe running or doing wind sprints. No matter what, the key to burning fat quickly and keeping it off is through activity and resistance activity is the best. Resistance activity is where you push against some force. For example, walking up and down stairs is a resistance activity because you are resisting the downward pull of gravity. This is how you burn fat fast. Activity burns those extra calories. There is really no other safe way around it.</p>

<p>When it comes to burning fat some people may be clueless but most are not. Most people know the basics like cutting calories and working out. The thing about the science of burning fat is that there are so many things to know it is almost impossible to know them all. This can actually be a great source of frustration and cause you to give up if you are not getting great results right away. Here are a few of the lesser known things about burning fat to help you get that extra edge and make a fit lifestyle a reality for you.</p>
<p>One of the hardest things for people to do is to stop the habit of grazing or in other words eating little bites of junk food pretty much all day. It is easy to start of the day with the right intentions and eat a healthy meal but it gets hard to stay on track and not eat until your next scheduled meal. One thing that can help with staying on track is to actually brush your teeth after every meal. On the surface this sounds like it has nothing to do with burning fat but in fact it can help you to avoid the pitfall of eating junk in between meals. After you brush your teeth most foods will taste bad. So it helps you to steer clear of eating that candy and sweets. If you do not want to or are unable to have your toothpaste with you all the time you can even try carrying a small container of mouthwash, preferably the slightly mediciny kind. This will give you the same effect of canceling out the good taste associated with eating snacks until your next regular meal.</p>
<p>Another thing most people do not realize is that the proper amount of sleep is essential to burning fat and being healthy in general. If you are working out and eating right but then only getting a few hours of sleep or getting interrupted sleep then you are cheating yourself. A solid 8 hours is ideal to allow the body to heal from a workout and get into fat burning mode. Make sure you work to get the sleep as hard as you work to include the gym in your regular routine.</p>
<p>Finally one thing to remember is to burn fat you have to eat fat. It is true. You might not think so but healthy fats are an essential part of a good fat burning diet. As long as you are eating natural unprocessed foods then a good amount of good fats will help stoke the fat burning fires. Good fats mean you are getting your fat from healthy sources like oily fish such as salmon and also from healthy roasted nuts. These will give your body the fats it needs to be healthy and burn off the ugly fat on your body.</p>

<p>You probably already know that interval training (alternating between high-intensity and easy recovery periods)helps your heart work more efficiently and burns calories in record time. Don&#8217;t You?</p>
<p>New research from the University of Guelph in Ontario shows that it also increases the amount of fat you burn during your OTHER workouts too. The Study involved women cycling for four minutes at 90% of their max. They done this ten times with two mins rest between each four minute interval. After doing these hour-long workouts (called HIT for high-intensity training) every other day for two weeks, the women used 36 percent more fat for energy during a low-intensity 60-minute ride than they did before the study. Intervals improve your ability to use fat for fuel. Make every other cardio session a HIT routine and you&#8217;ll amp up the burn of your lower-intensity workouts, too. And I know what the HIT training skeptics are saying &#8216;but you have to work in the &#8216;<a href="http://www.rumblerushs.com" target=_self>fat burn</a>ing zone&#8217; well we&#8217;re telling you to exit the fat burning zone immediately! &gt;30% max HR work is not only time consuming and counter productive its BORING!! And not only is it boring but the very nature of aerobic exercise is to increase endurance. . if you increase endurance you also become more economical with substrate (fuel) and this ladies and gentlemen means the hour on the treadmill you done last week is going to burn a hell of a lot less calories than the hour you done last month! Your body has simply done as its told and devised a way for you to complete the hour session without burning as much energy. . it&#8217;s a survival mechanism and its VERY efficient!</p>
<p>Not only will your body adapt in the short term but it will also adapt to it in the long term. You know after the 1st 3 mins of exercise at submax speeds you hit a small version of the &#8216;wall&#8217; if you aren&#8217;t warmed up properly? that is not only what you think it is i.e. your body changing over from anaerobic glycolysis to aerobic glycolysis and lipolysis i.e. going from utilizing Glucose and ATP as its main form of energy over to utilizing glucose with oxygen and fat as its main form of energy. Your body also becomes accustomed to the movement pattern you have been doing and adapts accordingly! If I told you to carry a large box from one side of the room to the other would you a) pick it up in one hand and hold it over your head or b) bend your knees squat over the box and carry it close to your centre of gravity?</p>
<p>The second one right?</p>
<p>You would make it easy for your self! That is exactly what your body does. Your metabolism knows exactly what demands are being placed on it and exactly what muscles are firing and can coordinate them accordingly. Make it easy for itself!! With the ultimate result of reducing the net amount of energy as the workout goes on. Energy production will not remain linear in your cardio session!</p>
<p>Now lets look at HIT as an exercise modality. Intense training increases caloric demand during the exercise itself and increases EPOC (Eccessive Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption) which is a combination of increased &#8216;physiological anticipation&#8217;, thermogenisis and increased glycogen depletion and subsequent re-syntheses and repair to damaged tissues. Now remember that fat is preferable burned during low intensity exercise &gt;30% max heart rate. . now you are physiologically &#8216;aroused&#8217;. It essentially thinks you are in trouble and will amp up energy production in your metabolic furnaces known as mitochondria. Just as your body wants to keep fat as a survival mechanism is also doesn&#8217;t want to be eaten or caught by predators/enemies. Your metabolism does not know you are sprinting or on a cross trainer. It simply knows you are demanding energy and could be in trouble!</p>
<p>The increase in intensity elevates your metabolic rate while you are exercising but as an added bonus it will keep your metabolism primed and elevated for a period afterwards too. It doesnt know you are training. For all it knows you are in trouble and need to escape. you may even need to engage in another set soon afterwards so it keeps the energy coming! Your &#8216;basal metabolic rate&#8217; (bare amount of energy your body needs to survive) is identical to that as if you were walking around for hours afterwards.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t feel guilty when you are on the couch at home after your session.

<p>The first is grapefruits. A lot of people have heard of the grapefruit diet and assumed that it was just because fruits in general are healthy for you. Fruit also has pectin which can break down fat and force it from the body. But grapefruits also are high in galacturonic acid.
