			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am 13 years old and i am 5 feet 2 inches and weight anywhere form 107 to 110 pounds (it changes everyday) I have belly fay which you can really only tell if i am sitting. I have big thighs which i hate! And i want more muscular calves. Please tell me if you think i&#8217;m fat and also give tips on how to slim down before school starts next mont!!! Thank you so much!<br />
<br />Your weight is perfectly fine, but if you want to shed a few pounds, then you can do that by diet and cardio.</p>
<p>If you want to lose weight, the best way is by diet and cardio. Dieting is eating less and eating healthier. Cardio is a type of exercise that raises your heart rate. Diet, which lowers your calorie intake and cardio which burns extra calories.<br />
If you want to go on a diet, you must reduce the amount you eat and change what you do eat to something healthy and nutritious. Begin by not eating more then 1500 calories a day. This will ensure you dont take over the amount of calories which will increase body fat.</p>
<p>For cardio, the best is using elliptical machines. I recommend this rather then a treadmill because after doing some testing, elliptical trainers burn twice the amount of calories you burn on a treadmill. I would use it for 30 minutes daily. If you cant afford either one, then just jog or walk outside every night. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My mother and I are both trying to lose weight, but we are competing in a way, and she will overcome me soon.  She has a bit of advantage because I am in school for a lot of the day, but when I get home, I spend most of my time doing homework and studying.  Do you have any tips.  I am 5&#8242;4&quot; and I weigh about 173.<br />
<br />I&#8217;m trying to lose weight too. This is what I&#8217;m doing now: I have a binder with dividers as my weight loss journal. This does help even though, at first, I didn&#8217;t see the benefit. It keeps track and see what you are doing wrong and things that work. Anyways, I divided it into 5 sections(Daily Journal, Tips/ Motivation, Food/Exercise Track, Progress, and Final Destination. To start off, before all my sections,(this sounds dumb but&#8230;) I wrote a letter to my future self. In this letter, I&#8217;m talking to me after I will accomplish my ultimate goal. I do not say IF i do it. I write to me as i know I will. Talking in this manner helps. Anyways, I include my reasons for <a href="http://www.rumblerushs.com" target=_self>weight loss</a> and I tell myself that I admire me. Dumb I know, but it may work.<br />
  In tips/Motivation, I&#8217;ll list tips people tell me or what I read in books and online and I&#8217;ll write quotes or collect pictures that inspire me. I&#8217;ll record everything I eat in the Food/Exercise Track and the time I eat it and what I do for exercise. Eevery day, I will start a fesh paper and on the top I will include my weekly Goal. Progress is for weekly goal accomplishments and weight that I will lose monthly. It will also include my evaluation(like what I did that worked and didn&#8217;t work and how I will improve what I do. And final stage will be when I meet my ultimate goal or when I&#8217;m pretty close to it. I will write an overall entry take pictures of myself  and you know, be proud of me.<br />
  Besides all this I suggest that you do reward yourself like doing things that you enjoy. I heard this is very important.<br />
  Think to yourself that you WILL do it and not YOU Might. This will also motivate you.</p>

<br />jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight<br />
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in<br />
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are<br />
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have<br />
to work double on them. The best approach is this:<br />
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal<br />
weight, lower for overweight).<br />
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.<br />
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.<br />
an  excellent  exercise,  you  can do it in front of your TV: sit on a<br />
stool,  and  put  your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,<br />
for  example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure<br />
that  it  is  not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you<br />
will  damage  your  back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your<br />
body  back, until it&#8217;s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and<br />
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add<br />
to  the  number  of  repetitions.  You will see the results in a week,<br />
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat &#8211; if you have any &#8211; six<br />
pack  and  muscles.  Dumbbells  do  wonders.  Much  better  than these<br />
crunches  &#8211;  I  came  up to three hundreds and there was no results AT<br />
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.</p>

<br />Drink lots of water. If you can decrease pasta and rice portions by  half and fill the rest of the plate with steamed veggies.Dont keep junkfood in the house. If you want ice cream, can you walk to the place to get it? I find if I tell myself that, I usually dont even want it by the time Im there.<br />
As far as joining an online thing, just buy a visa check card. You can use it online like  a credit card but there are no bills and you control how much is on it.<br />
Also check out dwlz.com. for free chat and tips. They use weight watchers but all ppl are usually welcome.She also lists point values for food.<br />
Salsa is great I put it on everything lol. And red pepper. I have to lose about 50 lbs myself. Good luck. You can do it.</p>

<p>Just because it is cold outside doesn&#8217;t make it open season for an excuse not to exercise. There are multiple exercise options one can choose to participate in regardless of what the outdoor thermometer reads. Depending on your location and likes, you can choose to workout inside or outside.</p>
<p>All that is required for Winter-time workouts is some planning and employing all safety precautions. If you prefer to workout outside, keep the following tips in mind.</p>
<p>Get warm first. A proper warm-up is critical. Cold temperatures can make your muscles tight and therefore they are more prone to injuries. So, it&#8217;s important to get them warmed-up prior to engaging in intense physical activity.<br />
Insulate your body. The best approach to dressing for outdoor exercise is with layers. Layering provides the most effective heating method, plus it allows you to remove the top layer if you get too hot. The layer closest to your skin should allow moisture to be wicked away. The top layer should be both wind and water resistant.<br />
No sweat. Don&#8217;t assume that you have to sweat in order to get a good workout. You should avoid sweating that causes the clothing layer closest to your skin to get wet and cause you to be chilled. Instead monitor your intensity through a heart rate monitor or the Rating of Perceived Exertion.<br />
Don&#8217;t strip when you get inside. While you may be tempted to immediately remove your layers when returning inside, give your body time to adjust. Post exercise hypothermia is possible. This happens when your body rapidly loses its heating stores.<br />
Drink up. It&#8217;s just as important to stay hydrated when exercising in Winter as it is in Summer, even though you might not feel as thirsty.<br />
Lighten up. If possible, it&#8217;s best to exercise outdoors during daylight areas. But, with shorten days that can be difficult to do. If you exercise outdoors when it is dark, wear reflective materials to ensure that you can be seen.<br />
